This does not call anyone. It saves your location where Search and Rescue can check it if someone reports you missing.

Most people who send this find the trail again. That is fine.
This page needs JavaScript to read your location. It is off, so nothing can be sent.
No location, so this page cannot send anything. What still helps:
1. Call 911 using the button below. An operator can often locate your phone when this page cannot.
2. Open your map app. It usually shows your position — read it to the operator.
3. Allow location for this site in your browser settings, then tap “Try again”.
Rescuers read this. For example: what you last recognised, which way you have been walking, who is with you.
SAR Helper does not send anyone. Call 911 and follow the operator's instructions.
Call 911 Opens your keypad with 911 typed in. It does not dial.Low signal? A 911 call can still get through on other networks. Worth trying.
